The Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales will be the venue for the next IAKS UK and Ireland learning and networking event in spring 2025. This symposium will focus on how sports and leisure facilities could better serve the needs of communities perhaps by considering in a different way the real needs of people. The Welsh Future Generations Act can impact beneficially in the way that councils, designers, operators and all parties can provide more appropriate facilities for communities of all sizes from cities to streets.
Speakers will be including the Commissioner for the Act, Sport Wales as well as analysts, developers, designers, operators, councils and municipalities from the UK, Ireland, and across Scandinavia.
This will be a thought provoking “Forum for All” and an opportunity for anyone who is interested in delivering better facilities to question their own approach.
