IAKS Austria is acting as a co-operation partner at this year's bäder.forum conference and has been able to attract several international experts from the IAKS network as speakers. The event will take place on 18 and 19 September in the lecture halls and exhibition areas of the historic Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria.
The event will kick off with three keynote speeches:
- A glimpse into the future - social developments and their impact on our target group
- Pool operations between municipal services of general interest and demand-orientation - how to successfully position and operate your public pool on the leisure market.
- Challenges and opportunities in the thermal spa industry
International topics will be discussed in these presentations:
- A look across the Big Pond - innovative pool concepts in Canada
- Focus on sustainability and energy efficiency - swimming pool in passive house design
- Pool concepts in Australia - and what we can learn from them
